Retirement Investments and Savings for Everyone (Registration Number 2010/022492/07) (“RISE”), founded on 15 November 2010, is a joint venture between NBC Fund Administration Services and EasyEquities. RISE was formed around a shared vision to promote a “savings culture” amongst fund members, focused on achieving their contractual and discretionary savings goals and an improved retirement readiness. RISE is an approved retirement fund administrator in terms of Section 13B of the Pension Funds Act, 1956 and a registered Financial Services Provider in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (CAT I and CAT II). We provide both fund administration and asset management services to a wide variety of stand-alone and umbrella retirement funds. Among our clients are local authorities, parastatals, and many of South Africa’s leading companies.RISE has a proven track record in the South African retirement fund industry, and we are excited to bring our institutional investment solutions to the retail investor.

Fractional share rights (FSRs) which are issued through a contract for difference, are an over the counter derivative. Unlike whole shares, FSRs do not carry any voting rights. As the investor makes further investments in FSRs and ultimately ends up with a whole share, the contract for difference is closed out and ownership whole share is delivered to the investor.
